You can donate by electronic check, credit card or Paypal. This is the most important support you can give. We are an IRS-approved 501(c)3 non-profit charity so your donations are fully tax-deductible.

Spread the word

Did you know that Google went from being unknown to being one of the biggest companies in only a couple of years without spending any money on advertising? Word of mouth is incredibly helpful.

Please email your friends and colleagues to let them know about us. Or spread the word when you’re talking to them in person.

You could also mention us in online discussions. If you have a blog, tell your readers about us. Every bit helps.

If you participate in any online discussions, you could also include us in your profile signature. If you have a profile on MySpace, please mention us.

Do your Google searches through us

This will generate revenue for us, as Google shares revenue with us for traffic that comes from our site.

Just type in what you’re searching for and press enter, and you’ll go directly to a Google page with your results.

Make your Amazon purchases through us

If you shop online, use the Amazon search bar on our site or add this Amazon search bar to your favorites. Your prices will be the same as normal prices, and Amazon will donate 4-7% of the purchase to us. Amazon now sells computers, clothing, hardware items and more, and their prices honestly are often the lowest. If 6,000 people buy $100 in one year through our search bar, it will generate $30,000 in donations for our non-profit.

Get your news from our site

For starters, we’ll feel great about the effort we've put in if a lot of people come to the site. In addition, donors will be more likely to donate to us if we are serving a large number of people. Media organizations will be more likely to write articles about us if we have a large following, and this will generate free publicity.

Link to us

If you have a web site or a profile on a site such as MySpace.com, linking to us drives traffic to our site. It also improves our placement in results on search engines such as Google. Most search engines largely base their site rankings on the number of other sites that link to us. To get code for text or logos to link to us, click here.

If you participate in an online discussion, let the others on the discussion board know about us. If the discussion needs to be focused on a particular topic, you can simply wait until we cover that topic on our front page. Then let others know you just saw an interesting article on it on our site and post the URL of our front page. You can also always put a quick "p.s." at the bottom of a regular post. For example: "p.s. By the way, I found a great news site called DailySource.org recently and recommend it."

Fundraise

One way you can do this is to email friends to describe the site and encourage them to support us.

If you know someone you think might make a major donor, and you want us to be involved in fundraising with them, email us at the address below.

If you see a high-quality story, column, blog or other item, use the link on the front page to submit an article. Our editors will consider using it on the front page.
